About Wood Wood
Wood Wood is a contemporary fashion & lifestyle brand from Copenhagen. The brand was founded in 2002 by the two friends Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian Jensen. The creative minds behind Wood Wood have also worked as designers in the creative industry before. Fed up with most of the popular brands of the early 2000s, the two friends decided to start their own label. Wood Wood was born. Olsen and Jensen were inspired by the attitude of the 90s. Both were active in the Copenhagen graffiti scene at the time, where style and a casual demeanor were crucial to their own reputation. They had their first "shop" in a small Copenhagen basement, where they sold books and selected accessories as well as their first hand-painted shirts. Within a very short time, the two made a name for themselves in the Copenhagen fashion scene and the small basement in which their "shop" was located became one of the hottest fashion hotspots in the whole city. Soon sweatshirts and hoodies joined the product range and the young brand became more and more known beyond the borders of Copenhagen. Today Wood Wood is one of the most sought-after Scandinavian brands. The designers mix high-end elements with classic streetwear to create their very own style. Wood Wood stands for premium streetwear, Scandinavian minimalism and its very own design language. Every single collection impresses with a lot of attention to detail, first-class quality and a certain Nordic coolness. In addition to T-shirts, hoodies, sweaters and jackets, Wood Wood also produces accessories such as purses, bags and caps. Wood Wood has already collaborated with big brands like adidas, Nike or Vans, but also with small regional labels and artists like Elmgreen & Dragset and ARKITIP. The small Copenhagen label has managed to anchor its name in the modern fashion world - and rightly so.
