Bad Habits is all about just getting started and discovering the joy of running. A specific goal? That might come later, as it looks different for everyone. What unites us is the shared joy of running, the gear, and the little sins that follow. Whether you're a fast pacer or just starting out—everyone is welcome!

BI WEEKLY RUNS
All paces welcome! Every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. – alternating between Darmstadt and Frankfurt – we run in three to four different pace groups , catering to all running levels. Our groups are led by two Aspaltgold pacers .
At the respective meeting point we allow bag drop and after the run there are drinks for everyone .

UPCOMING EVENTS
One day before the Frankfurt Half Marathon (March 15), we'll kick off the weekend with a relaxed ShakeOut Run to perfectly prepare for the big day. We'll meet at the old Massif Central (Bethmannstraße 7-9, Frankfurt am Main), enjoy a hot drink, and then take a leisurely run along the Main River. This will loosen up our legs and build anticipation for the race!
We'll be participating in the Frankfurt Half Marathon again this year, and together with the community, we'll be creating a great atmosphere! On March 16, you'll find our cheering zone with the Bad Habits Run Club & adidas right along the course at the Untermain Bridge (corner of Schweizer Straße). Starting at 10:00 a.m., there will be coffee, music, and drinks, so come along, cheer on the runners with us, and enjoy the (hopefully) first rays of sunshine!
BAD HABITS JOURNEY
JOURNEY
And because we value (more or less) good food and drinks just as much as running, they are at least as much of a focus for us. Ultimately, it's about overcoming your inner demons together – that simply works best in a group. And when a motivating community and a satisfying performance are combined , pizza, sweets, and beer taste even better afterward.
Since our launch in January 2024, we've been running every Thursday – alternating between Darmstadt and Frankfurt – in several pace groups, ranging from 4- and 6-person groups to a " no pace" group. If that doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry: No matter how fast you run, you can keep up, because with us, no one reaches the finish line alone!
We started as an internal running group that managed to motivate itself to run after work more irregularly than regularly. On January 11, 2024, at our kick-off event in Darmstadt, we opened our initially internal running club to external members in -4 degree temperatures with over 80 runners. Today, we are a large, open-minded Strava community with over 1,000 followers.
The ever-popular "Cup da Franco," aka the Darmstadt City Run, in which we have participated since the recent Asphaltgold era, also had a major influence. This running event takes its name from the prize awarded to all winners when it started in 1978: beer and pizza every lunchtime for a year at the Darmstadt restaurant da Franco. To this day, we at Asphaltgold celebrate the idea, as well as the annual event at our store on Ludwigsplatz.
