Sandy Liang, a New York born and raised designer, draws her inspiration from childhood memories and the vibrant spirit of her neighbourhood. After briefly studying architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, she transferred to Parsons School of Design to study fashion design and founded her own label straight after graduating. Her work, which is strongly influenced by outerwear, combines refined details and high-quality materials with the nostalgic impressions of winter coats, 90s brands and playful cartoons that she experienced as a child in New York.
The RX Marie-Jeanne writes the second chapter in the joint history of Salomon and Sandy Liang on hybrid footwear. The RX MOC 3.0 is now followed by the Mary Janes-inspired RX Marie-Jeanne. Breathability, cushioned comfort and a lightweight feel make the silhouette the ideal companion for hot summer nights.
