New Balance Grey Day 2023

For decades, one color in particular has become a hallmark of New Balance, even part of their DNA: we're talking gray. Countless iconic models like the 574, 990, 998, 1400, 1500 and many more came out plain in grey colorways and have made the colorway signature. No other color has shaped New Balance's history as much as gray, and we still can't get enough of it when it comes to high-quality, simple yet contemporary sneakers. Goes well with (almost) any outfit!

Since 2018, New Balance has been paying tribute to its OG colorway by celebrating Grey Day annually - with events around the world and usually even special releases - in grey, of course. This year is no exception:

New Balance's 2023 Grey Day Pack includes 3 lifestyle models and one contemporary trail running silhouette (which is pretty fashionable though) - the BB550, 580, 9060 and Fresh Foam More Trail v4!

All 4 silhouettes come in varying shades of grey (some of which lean towards blue) and a subtle mix of premium materials like nubuck leather, suede and mesh. The uppers are finished with a light *Moon Gaze* treatment that creates a slight patina effect. Their color scheme is understated, but can still be a highlight for many outfits. And so quite "classic" gray is this year's pack by the Moon Gaze effect then not!

This is where artist Tscheelo comes in, who we visited in Munich. His "Sundaytape" listening sessions have become very popular with his fan base and beyond. Getting together with like-minded people in a quiet and relaxed setting, without stress or distractions, just to catch the vibes and enjoy the music together, is a dream scenario for music lovers and artists alike.
