adidas Home of Classics - the X-Model Pack is here!
adidas looks back on a rich history of successes. They were the first brand to look for brand ambassadors away from the sports fields of the world. In Run DMC they found their first perfect match. The rappers from Queens, New York, made the adidas Superstar the sneaker of a whole generation. Many more confluences followed, whether in fashion, art or music: the court classics were always at the start. Without diminishing the immensely important past, however, we have reached a point of rethinking. We've grown up with the idols of yesteryear, become individuals in our own right, with our own stories. The Home of Classics X-Model Pack is now here to accompany us on these paths!

The pack consists of eight different models. What they all have in common is the high-quality white leather, the Off White midsole and the gold size embossing on the tongue. In addition to the absolute classics like Stan Smith, Continental 80 and Superstar, adidas introduced for the first time the new silhouette Supercourt! The history of the Court classics is skillfully continued on this style. The lateral, perforated "three stripes" are a deliberately chosen reference to its predecessor Stan Smith. adidas pays tribute to its history, but the fashionable layering in combination with the fresh sole design make the Supercourt the pioneer of the new casual sneaker.

Home of Classics Launch Event Paris
For the launch of the Home of Classics Pack, adidas invited us to Paris. The venue was completely white and offered enough space for various activities. Besides some skate obstacles there were also ping pong tables and a basketball court where you could try out the new styles directly. The event was all about the experience. adidas had already sent out copies of the Home of Classics Pack to individual people from the scene a month ago. In a separate white room, people could take a look at the rocked styles and see for themselves how the styles become even better with increasing patina. The evening was rounded off by the performances of Roméo Elvis and IAMDDB.
