Sandy Liang, a New York born and raised designer, draws her inspiration from childhood memories and the vibrant spirit of her neighbourhood. After briefly studying architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, she transferred to Parsons School of Design to study fashion design and founded her own label straight after graduating. Her work, which is strongly influenced by outerwear, combines refined details and high-quality materials with the nostalgic impressions of winter coats, 90s brands and playful cartoons that she experienced as a child in New York.

Now her collaboration with Salomon is in the starting blocks - on two silhouettes at once! The Speedcross 3 Ribbon lets two worlds collide: the mud and gravel of the trails with the pure and poetic elegance of ballet. Sandy Liang combines the aggressive, technical silhouette with a delicate, pink-coloured satin ribbon that can be elegantly wrapped around the ankle and calf.
