About Norse Projects
Norse Projects was founded in 2004 by Tobia Sloth and Mikkel Grønnebæk as a streetwear store in Copenhagen. Only a few years later, the two friends and business partners decided to also start their own fashion label under the name Norse Projects. Adapted to Scandinavian weather and fashion, functionality, timeless designs and high quality have been the focus of the brand ever since. The collections are characterized by a mix of functional basics and authentic streetwear. Norse Projects focuses on making clothes like sweatshirts, t-shirts, jeans and of course jackets for all seasons. By using materials such as Gore-Tex™ and other modern membranes, these jackets are so always wind & weather resistant and withstand even more extreme conditions. Inspired by classic workwear and modern outdoor clothing, Norse Projects has managed to make a name for itself in the global streetwear scene within just a few years. Norse Projects distinguishes itself from other Scandinavian brands by one thing in particular: its consistency. Instead of following current trends, Norse Projects prefers to set some itself and thus manages to always stay true to its own identity. The result of this work are timeless pieces that speak a clear design language and perfectly reflect Scandinavian minimalism. Established brands also recognized the potential of the young label early on, first and foremost New Balance. In collaboration with the brand from Boston, several very successful limited editions based on the New Balance 670 and the 1500 were created, followed by further collaborations with brands such as adidas and Vans.
