About Daily Paper

Daily Paper is a still quite young fashion label from Amsterdam. The story of Daily Paper begins in 2008, when three childhood friends, Hussein Suleiman, Jefferson Osei and Abderrahmane Trabsin, started publishing regular posts on their blog. The name of the project: Daily Paper. Shortly after, they start printing the logo of their blog on shirts and selling them. As the shirts became more and more popular, the three friends decided to found the Daily Paper brand in 2010. Today, Daily Paper is one of the fastest growing European designer brands on the market. As a ready-to-wear brand, Daily Paper's collections are primarily characterized by a minimalist, yet striking look. The three guys are inspired in large part by their African heritage. They pick up traditional elements of various cultures from Central and North Africa, combine them with modern cuts and create a very individual aesthetic. Clean and minimalist designs with fine details and traditional fabrics are among the brand's main characteristics. At the same time, each collection has its own unique vibe. For example, Daily Paper collaborated with the Somali non-profit organization "Elman Peace." This collaboration resulted in a series of hand-painted shirts, each one unique. The fact that Daily Paper's cool streetwear basics are also well received by big brands is shown by the collaboration with brands like Puma and Alpha Industries in 2017. Since 2015, the Amsterdam-based label has also had its own line for women, which convinces above all with casual cuts and high-quality fabrics. Each collection reflects the brand's African identity and individualism, which gives the brand its very own touch.
