Gary Aspden is no stranger to sneaker culture. For many years, he worked behind the scenes, supporting Adidas-sponsored artists and projects. In 2014, he finally came to the fore and presented his new baby called Adidas SPZL. The kickoff was an exhibition in Manchester, where 600 pairs of vintage Adidas were presented. Although the shoes took center stage, it quickly became clear that there was more at stake here. Lovers from all over the world traveled to exchange ideas with like-minded people and celebrate the brand with the three stripes. Following on from the spirit of this exhibition, the first Adidas SPZL collection was launched in 2015. In addition to 80s running silhouettes and classics from the City series, Adidas SPZL is also primarily dedicated to the Leisure range. Gary Aspden's declared aim here is also to design new shoes that authentically quote the Adidas archive. With the latest drop, Gary Aspden and his team have succeeded in creating a high-quality collection that will make the hearts of enthusiasts beat faster. Between new silhouettes like the Lawkholme and reinterpreted classics like the Samba Deco, there's something for everyone!
