About
After the release of the *Scopa*, our very first sneaker collaboration with Puma on May 4th, the second Palermo colorway of this collaboration now follows. Our second Palermo is called *Sedia*, which means "chair" in English. The name alludes to a well-known Italian children's song and is also a homage to the Italian mentality. Because: "Aggiungi un posto a tavola, che c'è un amico in più", as the song says, is an Italian proverb that means something like "put a chair there, because another friend is coming". It symbolizes Italian hospitality, the sense of friends and family, being together and shared memories. At first glance, the Palermo *Sedia* appears very understated in various shades of gray and beige. But we have also focused on special details in this silhouette. The iconic monoblock chair, which everyone knows and which symbolizes social gatherings in large groups, can be found on both the insoles and the tongue of the sneaker. As a reference to the children's song that inspired the sneaker design, there are also several "hidden messages" on the *Sedia* that reproduce parts of the song's lyrics.
