2023 is the year of our 15th birthday (if you look at it closely, it's actually not until November, but as we all know, it's best to celebrate when the sun is shining and the temperatures are warm) and that's definitely an occasion that wants to be celebrated: not just one Saturday, but four Saturdays in a row are waiting for you, which we have filled with plenty of programmes:

The celebration will take place in our pop-up space in Frankfurt - Berliner Straße 60. And with this, we are laying a first small foundation stone for another happening that is long overdue and that we are finally tackling at the age of 15: Within the next year, we will open another homebase in the heart of Hesse and thus a second door for Culture. Aesthetics. Dedication.

Since we have been active in the Frankfurt scene and interacting with the community for years, we are even more excited about our new space, where people & and a lot of passion for the product come together. We can't wait to see you at our Frankfurt launch and start the new chapter together!

Together we look back on 15 years of Asphaltgold history, have a few highlights and hidden gems in store for all our vintage friends & of course we will also make the hearts of our community beat faster. Our event series will be rounded off with a very personal highlight - but we'll tell you more about that very soon.

We start on 22.07. (14:00-20:00) with the Asphaltgold Legacy Day - concentrated competence looks back on 15 years of sneaker history in the Rhine-Main area: Together with Anna, Sales Manager at Brandpool and DJ on the side, Doug Ryeul Sohn, who has already gained a lot of experience in the industry at Alpha and Nike, among others, & Daniel, Founder of Uebervart and former Senior Buyer at Solebox and MBCY, we chat about all kinds of topics within the streetwear business and dare a joint look at future potentials and challenges.

Last year we were already able to visit Niklas and Simon from DoubleDouble in their shop in Mannheim - this time we are bringing them to us.

DoubleDouble Vintage is bringing a great selection of vintage pieces and selling them exclusively for you in Frankfurt. At our Asphaltgold Office Finds stand you'll find a wild mix of samples, remnants, and just about anything we can get our hands on during the next office & warehouse round - trust us, there are some treasures at the start.

Also present: Jaadiee aka photographer and grandson of Gramps, who with a heavy heart will part with a few of his favourite pieces for you. His proceeds will also go into the Heat for Need fund along with ours.

No summer without SoulSole: Those of you who have been following us for a while know that you have to mark this day in your calendar: The best line-up in the most beautiful locations - and all for you and for free.

This year, we're celebrating together with our friends from Puma at a rooftop location in Frankfurt: on the roof of the Empire Hotel, in Frankfurt's city centre, you can enjoy a sundowner with a skyline view and the best music. For the right musical vibe, we were able to bring Danga (BE), Sayaa (DK) & Johanna (DE) to the start and are happy to open the doors for you from 5pm. It pays to be there early!
